How Neurofeedback Helps Calm an Anxious Brain

  1. Small sensors on are placed around your scalp
    During a session, small sensors (dime size EEG leads) are placed on your scalp. They simply pick up your brain’s electrical activity; nothing is “put into” your brain from the sensors themselves.

  2. Gentle micro-currents that respond to your own brain activity
    The device sends brief, extremely low-level micro-currents in response to your brain’s patterns. These signals are so small that most people don’t feel them at all, but they can create temporary shifts in brainwave activity.

  3. Supporting a “reset” from stuck patterns
    Those brief shifts can give the nervous system a chance to loosen long-standing patterns linked to anxiety, stress, or trauma, allowing it to move toward more balanced functioning over time. Many people describe this as feeling “lighter,” “calmer,” or “less on edge” after sessions.

  1. Conversation about you

  2. Sensor placement
    You sit in a comfortable chair. We gently place a few small sensors on your scalp and neck area using conductive paste. They pick up your brain’s electrical activity in real time.

    The device delivers brief, tiny microcurrents—usually for just a few seconds at a time—guided by your own brain’s activity. You might be chatting, relaxing, or simply sitting quietly. There is no requirement to concentrate or “do it right.”
